Hello, I’m Suzy!
I live at the top of a HUGE hill in Yorkshire. It’s excellent for sledging, but not so great for walking back up again.
My background is in publishing and sales, having spent years travelling the north, selling books to bookshops. (Which is a smashing job – I would absolutely recommend it!)
Nowadays, I still get to do some of that, but I write books too! I’m a big fan of school visits, festivals, libraries and bookshop events. And pirate hats. I do like a comfy pirate hat.
I love picture books, making things rhyme, and eating Jaffa Cakes. Ideally all at the same time.
